Jones, Harry E.
"Just now the GI's are too thick and the evidences of war's devastation too plain but aside from that [France] is a lovely country," Jones says. He describes the region where he is located, as well as its people. He writes, "They seem to enjoy my attempts at French and I certainly enjoy talking to them." The envelope is printed with 6-cent postage commemorating air mail.
