Jones, Harry E.
Jones writes from his "3 day rest in a former deluxe hotel" where he has the opportunity to golf, sunbathe, and sleep. Censorship prevents him from discussing his activities, so he reviews his reading material. "Wish I could be bright about the future but I can't," he says, hoping he can get a furlough before "crossing the Pacific."
