San Diego State College student Tascher squats with a rifle during filming of Bob Wade and H. Billy Miller's parody of "Beau Geste." (The students brought their own rifles.) It was filmed at the same location as the Paramount Studios' Fort Zinderneuf abandoned set in the desert near Yuma. (The exact location is an archeological dig and may not be disclosed.) Tascher's fraternity, Sigma Lambda, sponsored the movie's three showings at San Diego State College.
