Curt Teich and Company, Chicago, Illinois
These are the first two images at the back of the foldout from the postcard labeled "Beautiful Pasadena, California." The first is of a snowy "Hotel on Mt. Wilson, Cal."; the second a view of the Tournament of Roses Stadium." In the first image, snow has thickly covered cottages and trees at the Mount Wilson Hotel, original postcard Teich number A83868, 1921, with contribution from Theo. Sohmer, Los Angeles. The second shows a Rose Bowl football game with a packed stadium and color sections visible on both sides (Teich number 91909, 1922). Since the Rose Bowl was not completed until 1922, and the game was played on New Year's Day, this would have been an imagining of the 1923 game set in the Bowl.
