W. J. Parker, Esq.,
Sec'y, San Diego Rowing Club,
San Diego, Calif.,

Dear Sir:-
I have your favor of the 6th inst.

As the matter of rates, outside of the 25 cents, which is the proportion the street car, ferry and railroad companies set, is in the hands of Mrs Hamblin, lessee. I have referred your letter to her. It is impossible for the three companies to accept less; and, as I understand it, Mrs Hamblin now accepts from your club 15 cents per bath less than from our guests; but I know she thinks so much of your Club, she may, if possible, try to meet your views partially, though I am sure she cannot wholly.

Yours truly,

Pac. Press Pub. Co.,
Oakland, Calif.,

Gentlemen:-
We have had our menu cards printed by the parties who printed them last year, as we preferred the engraving.

Yours truly,
E. S. Babcock.
