Dear Sir:-- A can of milk was delivered to the hotel yesterday which Tested 25% water. Are you sure your man who delivered milk does not put water in it after he leaves the dairy and before it is delivered. We have almost ruined our reputation, on account of the quality of the milk placed before our guests, and can not put up with watered milk longer. Understand me, I do not believe you are personally acquainted with or know anything about the introduction of water into the milk, but the fact exists that the milk we have received from you was watered, either from the ice of other cause.

The can of milk referred to above is at the hotel subject to your order.

Yours truly,
E.S. Babcock
