A raised image of Hardy Tower decorates the cover of this Volume XXXIII, dedicated to Edward L. Hardy in the last year of his presidency of the college (having begun in 1910). The theme is the California-Pacific Exposition held in 1935 in Balboa Park, of which there are many photographs. There are also photographs of Hepner Hall ("Administration Wing"), Hardy Tower (as Library Tower), the Exercise and Nutritional Science building (as "The Gym") with its patio and fountain, and a new pergola and fountain near Scripps Cottage in memory of J. Grant Cramer. One of the two photographs of the outgoing president Edward L. Hardy shows him in cap and gown.
