Vernon Stiers wears a pith helmet as he operates the camera, with William Tascher on his left. In front of the camera in the center is H. Billy Miller in this parody of "Beau Geste." The men used Paramount Studios' Fort Zinderneuf set in the desert near Yuma. (The exact location is an archeological dig and may not be disclosed.) See Frank Thompson's "The Lost Remake of Beau Geste," 2013 for more information.
