Miller points a pistol during the filming of the parody of "Beau Geste." He and Bob Wade produced the movie on Paramount Studios' abandoned set of Fort Zinderneuf in the desert near Yuma. (The exact location is an archeological dig and may not be disclosed.) Their fraternity, Sigma Lambda, sponsored the only three showing of the movie, at their college, San Diego State.
