Nord Whited, stands in military costume with his rifle during the filming of the parody of "Beau Geste." It was made at the same location as the Paramount Studios movie, on the abandoned set of Fort Zinderneuf in the desert near Yuma. (The exact location is an archeological dig and may not be disclosed.) See Frank Thompson's "The Lost Remake of Beau Geste," 2013, for further information.
