Bill Tascher beds down on the abandoned Paramount Studios' Fort Zinderneuf set near Yuma, where San Diego State students filmed a parody of "Beau Geste." (The exact location is an archeological dig and may not be disclosed.) Tascher's fraternity, Sigma Lambda, sponsored the only three showings of the film, at San Diego State College in 1940.
