The event shown in these three negatives, from NEG-01-850 through NEG-01-852, may or may not be related to the poster visible in NEG-01-852, which reads "Vote No/Support Ron & B.J." According to information with a slide in this same collection, the poster relates to a petition to recall the president (Ron Breen) and executive vice president (Steve Nystrom) of Associated Students. Articles in the Daily Aztec on May 28, 1969 state that the recall was for leading political action opposing violence against the "People's Park" occupation in Berkeley, California and protesting a perceived lack of attention by the state capitol to student issues.
