A photograph in the inner Quad looking up at the Montezuma sculpture and the weathervane is featured on the front endpapers of this annual, while at the back is the opposite view from the back of the sculpture. In this year Dean of Men and former coach Charles E. Peterson retired. A portrait and dedication of the yearbook to him are on pages 2-3. The "new Campus Laboratory School" was completed and dedicated in this year. This was also the first year of President Malcolm A. Love's tenure as president of San Diego State College, and a portrait of him is on page 8. Doctor Love served as president until 1971.
